If so, I have good news for you!  I am Sandra Palmer Columber and I would be honored to serve you as our next Assessor of Property.  

Many of you know me as Ms. Palmer from the nursing home.  My dad started that over 20 years ago and it just stuck.  My husband Kent laughingly says just don’t call him Mr. Palmer.  Both sides of my family have deep roots in Hancock County and I have many close relatives living here today.  Kent and I have a nine year old son named Palmer Columber, who has lots of aunts, grannies and mamaws here.

It is time to see that all residents of Hancock County are treated fairly and pay their taxes equally.  I can do this for you.

• Familiar with plats, deeds, title opinions, surveys and other property matters
• Over 25 years of working with state and federal offices and agencies
• Computer literate – former computer consultant
• College graduate and active in our community
